Bio: Hung Phan

Hung Phan

Jr. Software Developer

Hung is our newest member of the CODE family, and he started as an entry-level intern. Hung graduated from University of Houston (UH) with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Fun fact: he actually was a former student of Otto (a Sr. Software Developer here at CODE). Another less-fun fact: Hung is an international student from Vietnam, and he spent his first year living in the States in Rogersville, Missouri as a cultural exchange student.

During his undergraduate, Hung found a burning passion in front-end web development & UI/UX design, and that landed his very job in the field as a Web Development Intern for University Marketing department at UH. Hung was also the Webmaster for UH Powerlifting Club, and he rebuilt the entire website from scratch with HTML/CSS. Hung also helped the former head coach of UH Powerlifting launches his first professional website (using HTML/CSS, Bootstrap framework & JavaScript) that offers powerlifting coaching service. Thanks to the sport of powerlifting, Hung connected really well with Otto (a TX state and world record holder powerlifter), and that ultimately landed him his internship with CODE.

In his free time, Hung loves assembling PC parts, and anything related to computer hardware. Last fun fact (he promised): Hung has 2 corgis, and they are his pride and joy.
