Edwin "Ned" Ames has worked in software development for over a decade, producing applications for clients in multiple industries ranging in size from startups to multinationals.
He entered software by tinkering. You can still occasionally find him following his nose into uncharted waters.
By day, Ned develops software for his employer, Yellow Book USA. After hours he tinkers with software and works on articles and presentations for the community. He also offers custom software development through his PA company, Purposeful Solutions, Inc.
When not geeking out, he lives with his wife in their Philadelphia area apartment. Other interests include writing, philosophy, sushi, and cooking.
