CODE Staffing is currently accepting resumes for a senior technical recruiter based out of Houston, TX. We are not looking for volume of candidates from this recruiter; we’re looking for quality. As such, you will not be spamming LinkedIn or other sites – you will be embedded in the local Houston developer ecosystem – attending user groups, events and getting to know the people there. We are looking at a long term, community-based person.
As a funded startup, you will be our first recruiter, and will be expected to work directly with our COO in developing the game plan for sourcing and hiring top-level candidates and helping to roll out future recruitment efforts on a company-wide basis. If you want in at the ground floor of an exciting opportunity, with the ability to grow your skills and knowledge, this is your chance!
You have years of experience working as a technical recruiter and think that the approach that most companies take is fundamentally broken. You want to treat your candidates as people – with regular contact, and long-term planning and commitment. Programming experience is a plus since you'll be working closely with the development community.
Our compensation includes a salary range of between $80,000 and $100,000 and generous profit sharing as well as healthcare and other benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to interact and socialize with a wide range of people from varied backgrounds
- Ability to attend industry events
- Some travel required
- Willingness to attend events outside of regular business hours as needed
